Enjoy cultural events at IFC Seoul, Yeouido
IFC Seoul announced that a periodic art exhibition composed of artist Lee Sang-yong’s artworks will be continued till May 19th in the lobby of One IFC, as a part of IFC Seoul’s Community Outreach Program.
One of the art works entitled ‘Fate’ consisting of seven drawings and 200 inkstone artworks delivering the artist’s own thoughts and life. Each component is worth from several million to ten million KRW. Textured canvases, the inkstones up to 200, 300 years old showing sculptured trees, mountains and the sky deliver the artist’s warm humanities.
Artist Lee Sang-yong renown as a painter and Korean traditional inkstone artist, has held a number of solo exhibitions and has participated in art fairs not only in Korea but also in New York, which is a center for art. His talent and creativity has been recognized globally.
The purpose of Community Outreach Program is to provide tenants, visitors and the local communities with unique experiences to appreciate great art works. In addition, young and talented artists are able to be supported in terms of the exhibition venues or so.

IFC Seoul, meanwhile, provides its visitors with unique opportunities to watch high-priced art works at One IFC, Two IFC and IFC Mall. can have chances to appreciate 13 high-priced and famous arts in IFC Seoul such as an artwork on the outside green, looks like a yellow trumpet entitled ‘A silent relaxation’ by artist Kim Byung-ho, ‘Whites’ by artist Baek Jin in the lobby of Two IFC and ‘Light Breeze’ shining LED lights on a marble panel, created by artist Jung Young-hun located in IFC Mall.
