    IFC Seoul signs long term lease with Bank of New York Mellon
    IFC Seoul with continuous move-in of foreign financial firms is cruising well to become financial hub

    [May 3 2011] IFC Seoul has announced that it has signed a new lease contract for the move-in to One IFC with the Bank of New York Mellon, a renowned global financial firm. The Bank of New York Mellon currently located at Youngpoong building in Jongno will start moving to One IFC this fall.
     
    32-story One IFC which is equipped with high-end global working environment and green facilities is the 1st office tower of IFC Seoul. Key tenants One IFC are Deloitte, ING Asset Management, ING Real Estate Asset Management, Daiwa Securities and more. The Bank of New York Mellon was created in 2007 by a merger between Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Corporation. The Bank of New York Mellon, a renowned global financial firm will lease one floor of One IFC and signed on a long term agreement with IFC Seoul.

    IFC Seoul, a world class multipurpose landmark building, is a joint project between AIG Korea Real Estate Development and the Seoul Metropolitan Government and their common goal is to develop Yeouido as an international financial hub and Seoul as a financial hub of North East Asia through the IFC Seoul project. IFC Seoul is constructing with environment friendly construction technologies and includes three premium office buildings, IFC Mall, Conrad Seoul Hotel, a multiplex movie theater, various restaurants, cultural and leisure facilities and subway line number 9 and 5. Two remaining office buildings, Two IFC and Three IFC will be completed in the 2nd quarter of 2012.
