IFC Seoul Selects Ourhome for Premium Food Court
SEOUL, June 22, 2011 - IFC Seoul (Seoul International Finance Center) located in Yeouido announces that it has chosen Ourhome’s Maindish as its business partner for the IFC Mall food court.
Ourhome (http://www.ourhome.co.kr/) will provide a premium food court experience through its Maindish service that offers a diverse and specialized menu and service departing from the traditional concept of a food court as a place for a quick bite. Ourhome Maindish will introduce an entirely new concept of professional and luxury food court dining that befits the aspiration of IFC Seoul to become a financial hub of North East Asia.
Ourhome utilized a prominent Japanese retail interior designer in the food court designs while also incorporating the characteristics of Yeouido, with its abundance of professional office workers, to design an interior of leading global trends and convenience. The effect will be to create a spacious and elegant atmosphere where customers will feel as if they are dining in a luxury restaurant.
“The premium food court is a new concept for Korea which is well matched to professional office workers in Yeouido who pursue international trends. We will do our best to make more customers visit IFC Mall’s food court,” an official of Ourhome said.
“A food court that considers the unique characteristics of a building and the human needs of its customers determines the level of a shopping mall,” said Vivian Ahn, the vice president of AIG Korea Real Estate Development, who is in charge of the marketing and retail business of IFC Mall. “A dietary life combining both food quality and health is an important priority in a life of an office worker as seen from trends in developed countries such as France and the U.S. IFC Mall with its strategic food and beverage service will offer a high quality lifestyle to Yeouido office workers on a level enjoyed in the world’s leading financial capitals.”
IFC Mall which is a new concept multipurpose shopping mall where visitors can enjoy shopping, rest and culture at one place will open in 3rd quarter 2012. Residents in Seoul’s Youngdeungpo District are eagerly awaiting its completion as over a hundred global fashion brands including SPA, Zara and H&M, as well as cultural facilities such as Youngpoong Bookstore and multiplex CGV Movie Theater in IFC Mall will also open. Industry experts believe once the multipurpose shopping mall opens in Youngdeongpo, other commercial regions near Yeouido will be revitalized as well.
